It's important to be creative when it comes to learning a foreign language. Spelling is difficult, especially at the beginning. So why don't we make it fun? I was inspired by my 3rd-graders to "draw" some words connected with sport. At first I did it the old-fashioned way, using blackboard and chalk, but then I realize I can use my computer and an image editor. That's the result:
